The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) is reporting that it expressed deep concern over the appointment of Representatives Jared Moskowitz, Wesley Bell and Debbie Wasserman Schultz to the House Foreign Affairs Committee. CAIR National Deputy Director Edward Ahmed Mitchell said the appointments of these "most committed enablers" of Israel are an insult to voters and an attempt to shield Israel from accountability for its actions in Gaza. Mitchell said these members support unconditional funding for the Israeli government and are out-of-step with most Americans and Democrats who want to end U.S. military aid to Israel.
