The U.S. Census Bureau will host a webinar on Thursday, September 24 at 2:00 p.m. ET explaining how the release frequency of its economic data shapes the level of detail available to users.
The session, "Turning Frequency into Actionable Insight," introduces the Census Bureau's release frequency pyramid. Attendees will learn which sources offer the timeliest insights, which provide greater depth and detail, and how to select the right data for their needs.
Speakers Lucie Alleyne and Tonja White will lead the presentation.
The webinar is part of Census Academy, which offers free training on finding and using Census Bureau data for everyday purposes, including informing business plans, supporting grant proposals and research projects, developing apps, and urban development planning and services.
The bureau said it can also provide free workshops and trainings for organizations on request.
A separate upcoming webinar on September 30 will cover transitioning from Job Openings and Labor Turnover (JOLTS) to Quarterly Workforce Indicators (QWI).
