TIME Health is reporting that experts advise against assuming the need to make someone feel better when they are crying. It said specialists in grief, communication, and hospice care indicate this is a common mistake when trying to comfort someone.
Separately, TIME Health is reporting that nearly 450,000 New Yorkers are losing health coverage as of July 1. It said thousands of low-income residents are experiencing the effects of what it termed the "Big Beautiful Bill."
The publication also noted that in relationships, there is a difference between meaningful honesty and unbridled self-expression. Additionally, TIME Health offered advice on what to say if friends are consistently excluding someone.
