The Judicial Space and Facilities Management Effectiveness Act has been introduced, aiming to resolve long-standing issues within federal courthouses and other vital Judicial Branch facilities. This bipartisan legislation seeks to improve the essential buildings where justice is pursued and the rule of law upheld.
Judge Robert J. Conrad, Jr., Director of the Administrative Office of the United States Courts, said, "The introduction of this bipartisan bill takes a big step toward addressing the chronic problems that have afflicted federal courthouses and other mission critical facilities of the Judicial Branch." He added that these facilities are where the public, litigants, judges, and court staff convene.
