The 2026 Library of Congress National Book Festival is set to return on Saturday, August 22, at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C. This year's festival, a key part of the Library’s America 250: It’s Your Story celebration, invites attendees to explore the nation's history through a multifaceted storytelling experience.
The event will feature conversations with more than 80 authors spanning various literary genres. Additionally, expanded programming will spotlight music, film, recorded sound, veterans’ history, and American folklife, offering a glimpse into the vast scope of the Library’s collections and year-round initiatives.
