Ponca State Park is set to host the Missouri River Outdoor Expo on September 19-20, offering over 100 free activities for all ages and skill levels. Billed as the largest outdoor expo in the Midwest, the event will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both days.
Attendees can participate in a wide array of activities, including kayaking, shooting sports, fishing, rock climbing, and mountain biking. The expo will also feature entertainers, contests, cooking and wildlife demonstrations, and various vendors. Highlights for this year include a barbecue challenge, Bob's Epic Burger Challenge, and a youth duck calling contest.
While all activities are free, a state park entry permit is required for admission. Visitors are encouraged to purchase their permits online in advance for a smoother entry.
