The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) today released Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) performance evaluations for 14 national banks and federal savings associations, covering the period of July 1 to July 30, 2026. These evaluations assess how well institutions meet the credit needs of their entire communities, including low- and moderate-income neighborhoods.
Under the CRA, the OCC assigns ratings of outstanding, satisfactory, needs to improve, or substantial noncompliance. Among the institutions evaluated, Hinsdale Bank & Trust Company, National Association, The First National Bank of Hutchinson, My Kind of Bank, National Association, and The Citizens National Bank of Park Rapids all received "Outstanding" ratings.
Conversely, Midland FS & LA in Bridgeview, Illinois, was rated "Needs to Improve." The remaining nine institutions, including Desjardins Bank, National Association, and John Deere Financial, f.s.b., received "Satisfactory" ratings. The OCC provides a searchable list of all public CRA evaluations on its website.
