The U.S. Census Bureau has announced a series of upcoming data releases this week, providing crucial insights into the nation's economic landscape, including business formation, international trade, and wholesale activity.

On July 9, the Bureau will release Business Formation Statistics (BFS) for June 2026, offering timely information on new business applications and formations across the United States and Puerto Rico. This follows the July 2 release of the Business Trends and Outlook Survey (BTOS) data, which continuously measures business conditions for employer businesses, excluding farms, and is available biweekly by sector, state, employment size, and metropolitan areas.

Further economic indicators are scheduled for release, with May 2026 data on U.S. International Trade in Goods and Services and Final U.S. Imports for Consumption of Steel Products both due on July 7. Additionally, the Monthly Wholesale Trade: Sales and Inventories for May 2026 will be published on July 8. These releases aim to provide policymakers, businesses, and the public with data to make informed decisions.
