Oakland San Francisco Bay Airport (OAK) today unveiled a refreshed logo, marking a new chapter for the airport as it continues its evolution as the Bay Area's most convenient airport for local travelers, coinciding with a National Aviation Day celebration. The new branding modernizes the "I Fly OAK" tagline while retaining its familiar spirit and reflects OAK's vision for the future, emphasizing convenience, accessibility, value, and connection to the diverse communities of the Bay Area.

Port of Oakland Director of Aviation Craig Simon said, "The logo refresh represents who we are today and where we're headed tomorrow. As Oakland San Francisco Bay Airport continues to grow and invest in our facilities, we're proud to introduce a new logo that reflects our commitment to providing a high-value, low-stress travel experience while celebrating the culture, diversity, and innovation that make the Bay Area such a remarkable destination."

This rebrand arrives amidst ongoing investments in the passenger experience, including extensive restroom renovations and new locally inspired dining and retail options, such as Trader Vic’s, set to open soon. Looking ahead, OAK’s proposed Terminal Modernization and Development Project aims to further enhance the traveler experience for future generations.

In conjunction with the launch, OAK hosted a special National Aviation Day event in Terminal 2, inviting travelers and visitors with an OAK Guest Pass to explore aviation-themed activities. These included storytime sessions, a selfie station, complimentary airport swag, free ice cream, and a showcase of social media photo contest winners. The celebration underscores OAK's commitment to inspiring future generations and connecting communities through air travel.
