A Nanticoke, Pennsylvania, resident, Christopher Jones, 27, has been indicted by a federal grand jury in Pittsburgh on charges of violating federal child sexual exploitation laws, United States Attorney Troy Rivetti announced today. The three-count indictment names Jones as the sole defendant in the case.
According to the indictment, Jones is accused of knowingly, intentionally, and unlawfully coercing and enticing a minor to engage in illegal sexual activity on May 1, 2026. Additionally, he allegedly produced and attempted to produce material depicting the sexual exploitation of a minor on May 3 and May 4, 2026.
The law stipulates a maximum total sentence of not less than 15 years in prison, a fine of up to $250,000, or both. Assistant United States Attorney Nicole A. Stockey is prosecuting the case, which was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation. An indictment is an accusation, and a defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
