The Washington Post is reporting that President Donald Trump has selected Bill Pulte, who leads a federal mortgage regulation agency, to serve as the acting director of national intelligence. Pulte is a staunch political supporter of Trump and has no experience with intelligence work, the Post said. He will replace Tulsi Gabbard, who announced in May that she would leave the DNI position this month.
