"The Economics Daily" featured several articles, examining creative careers with projected job growth from 2024–34, the significant presence of older Americans in the 2025 labor force, and the high concentration of construction and extraction occupations in Midland, Texas, in May 2025. It also reported a notable employment decline in the Portland–Vancouver–Hillsboro metro area between March 2025 and March 2026. Additionally, "Career Outlook" explored job opportunities within the manufacturing sector.

Looking ahead, the BLS has scheduled several key economic news releases. These include County Employment and Wages and the Job Openings and Labor Turnover Survey on June 2, Metropolitan Area Employment and Unemployment on June 3, and Productivity and Costs on June 4. The Employment Situation report is due on June 5, followed by the Consumer Price Index and Real Earnings on June 10.
