Upcoming air quality permit discussions include a public meeting on July 27 in Liberty County for Qyk Brands LLC's concrete batch plant permit. Virtual preliminary contested case hearings are set for August 11 regarding Logan X Ready Mix LLC's concrete batch plant in Wise County. Additionally, a notice and comment hearing will be held on August 17 in San Antonio for Vantage Data Centers TX11, LLC's proposed federal operating permit in Bexar County. Fermi Equipment Holdco, LLC's proposed air quality permits for an electric generation facility in Carson County will be the subject of a public meeting on August 24. Freeport LNG Development, L.P. has two notice and comment hearings scheduled in Lake Jackson, Brazoria County, on September 15 and September 22, concerning significant revisions to federal operating permits for its Regas Facility and Liquefaction Plant, and Pretreatment Facility, respectively.
Wastewater permit hearings begin virtually on August 5 for Melissa 413 LLC and Tommy Doak Robbins in Collin County, followed by another virtual hearing on August 24 for 183 258 Liberty Hill LLC in Williamson County. Public meetings for proposed Texas Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (TPDES) permits include Lavon 333 LLC and Royal Texas Investors LLC on August 27 in Josephine, Collin County, and PMT Development, LLC on September 1 in Forney, Kaufman County.
These meetings and hearings provide opportunities for public discussion on permitting issues, such as whether facilities should be allowed to obtain, renew, or amend permits. Most hearings are conducted by SOAH, while public meetings are arranged by the TCEQ's Office of the Chief Clerk.
