The National Fire Academy (NFA) has announced immediate vacancies for several resident classes scheduled for July 6-10, 2026, at the National Emergency Training Center in Emmitsburg, MD. These opportunities are available for fire and emergency services personnel seeking specialized training.

The available courses include R0263 Commercial Fire Sprinkler Plans Review, P2116 Fire Investigation: Interviewing (a new 5-day program), R0310 Type 3 Incident Management Team/Organization, and R0312 Command and Control of Incident Operations. All classes are set to run concurrently.

Prospective students must apply using the electronic application form on the NETC Online Admissions website and secure electronic approval from their sponsoring organization's head. Applicants will receive written notification from the Admissions office regarding their participation.
