The Federal Circuit Center for Innovation and Law recently hosted its "Justice Up Close, History All Around" civics program in Washington D.C., inviting the public to explore the interplay of law, innovation, science, and civic action.
Held on the eve of the 250th Independence Day anniversary, the event highlighted the Judiciary's role in democracy. Chief Judge Kimberly A. Moore said, "This important milestone in our nation’s history is the perfect opportunity to help educate the public about the Judiciary’s role in democracy."
