Rajonne Blake, 26, of Bridgeport, was sentenced today to 121 months of imprisonment and three years of supervised release for his involvement in violent armed robberies of an Amazon delivery truck and a Cumberland Farms store. U.S. District Judge Stefan R. Underhill issued the sentence in Bridgeport.
According to court documents, Blake and others committed a gunpoint robbery of an Amazon delivery truck in Bridgeport on December 23, 2022, and a Cumberland Farms, located in Stratford, on January 2, 2023. During the Amazon robbery, Blake supplied the firearm and served as the getaway driver, while his accomplices forced the driver into the back of the truck and assaulted him.
For the Cumberland Farms robbery, Blake again served as the getaway driver as his accomplices entered the store with firearms, threatened employees, forced victims to the ground, and stole $1,200 from cash registers and personal items, including an iPhone. Blake’s associates also committed other gunpoint robberies in Bridgeport and Milford in December 2022.
Blake has been detained since August 1, 2024. He pleaded guilty on January 27, 2026, to interference with commerce by robbery and carrying, using, and brandishing a firearm during and in relation to a crime of violence. The Federal Bureau of Investigation, along with the Bridgeport, Stratford, and Milford Police Departments, investigated the case.
