American Airlines is marking more than a decade of its Cabin Electronic Flight Bag (EFB), a centralized digital resource that gives its flight attendants access to the manuals, safety information and other tools they need to do their jobs.

For over 10 years, the Cabin EFB has replaced the paper materials flight attendants once carried, consolidating essential reference documents into a single, mobile platform.

The airline said the Cabin EFB serves as a centralized resource for manuals, safety information and other tools needed for American Airlines flight attendants to perform their duties.

The system reflects a broader shift across the carrier from printed manuals to mobile technology, a change the airline framed as an evolution in how its cabin crew accesses critical information.

American Airlines did not provide additional details on future updates to the Cabin EFB or on any planned changes to the platform.
