Library of Congress Spotlights K-Pop and Historic Exhibition in August

The U.S. Library of Congress will host a K-pop celebration on August 6, alongside extended evening hours for its new "The Declaration's Promise" exhibition, as part of its "Live! At the Library" series.

K-pop fans are invited to dance, create custom light sticks, and participate in team trivia. The event will feature special displays from the Library's Asian Division, Music Division, and American Folklife Center, offering attendees a chance to meet specialists and connect with fellow enthusiasts.

"The Declaration's Promise" exhibition explores the Declaration of Independence's enduring principles and its 250-year influence on American history. It showcases iconic treasures, including Thomas Jefferson's original rough draft, Abraham Lincoln's Gettysburg Address, and "Hamilton" memorabilia.
