The geomagnetic field, which was at quiet levels over the last 24 hours, is predicted to reach quiet to major storm levels on July 3rd and 4th, and quiet to minor storm levels on July 5th. There is also a slight chance of proton events crossing thresholds during this three-day period. Solar wind speed peaked at 389 km/s, and electrons greater than 2 MeV reached 428 pfu at geosynchronous orbit.

Probabilities for Class M flares are 70% daily, while Class X flares and proton events each have a 20% daily chance from July 3rd to July 5th. Middle latitudes face a 15-20% chance of major-severe storms, with high latitudes having a 60% chance on July 3rd, decreasing thereafter.
