The Washington Post is reporting that Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, once an AI optimist, has expressed concerns about the technology's potential risks. It said Gates published an essay highlighting dangers to safety, security, employment and children's well-being.
The Post also reported on a secretive visit by the CIA director to Moscow. It said the trip took place amid heightened Ukrainian attacks deep within Russia, including its capital.
Separately, The Post reported that Gen. Randy George was advised to discontinue a probe related to Kid Rock before Secretary of the Army Christine Wormuth removed him. It said George was reportedly troubled by an encounter with Gen. Chris LaNeve, the Army's second-highest officer and a current front-runner for the service's top position.
