Virginia Medicaid is hosting a virtual town hall to inform members, applicants, and families about significant federal changes to work requirements and Medicaid renewal processes set to take effect in 2027.
The online event is scheduled for Tuesday, September 15, 2026, from 12 – 1 p.m. It will cover who may be affected by these changes, potential exemptions, how reporting will work, and key implementation dates. The session will also provide information on resources available to help eligible Virginians maintain their coverage.
Registration is required to attend the virtual Town Hall. Participants are encouraged to submit questions in advance for Virginia Medicaid subject matter experts to address during the session. All Medicaid members, their families, caregivers, and advocates are encouraged to attend to learn more about these important upcoming changes.
