The BTOS data, collected from December 14, 2025, to May 3, 2026, reveals trends in AI business usage. The survey specifically tracks whether businesses utilized AI in the preceding two weeks and their expectations for AI integration over the subsequent six months.
Previous findings from the 2023 Annual Business Survey, which provided 2022 data, indicated that the adoption of technology, including AI, did not alter overall worker numbers. The current BTOS continues to monitor the evolving landscape of AI across various sectors.
