NOAA and USAF reported low solar and geomagnetic activity over the past 24 hours, with forecasts indicating a continuation of quiet conditions, though a slight chance of M-class solar flares exists for the coming days.

Solar activity remained low, with three numbered sunspot regions currently visible on the solar disk. The forecast suggests solar activity will likely stay low through September 6, with a 15% chance of an M-class flare occurring on each of September 4, 5, and 6.

The geomagnetic field also experienced quiet levels, with solar wind speed peaking at 405 km/s. Electrons greater than 2 MeV at geosynchronous orbit reached a peak of 2703 pfu. Looking ahead, the geomagnetic field is expected to remain quiet on September 4 and 5, transitioning to quiet to unsettled levels on September 6.
