Nebraska Governor Jim Pillen has issued two executive orders providing immediate, temporary relief to farmers, ranchers and agricultural transporters across the state, his office announced.
The orders are aimed at combating rising diesel fuel shortages and high operating costs during harvest season.
The relief applies statewide to Nebraska's agriculture community, which the release identifies as the intended beneficiary of the temporary measures.
The announcement was made in Lincoln, Nebraska, and published by the Office of the Governor.
