URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED Severe Thunderstorm Watch Number 506 NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK 930 PM CDT Sat Oct 21 2017 The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a * Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of Southeast Kansas Southwest Missouri * Effective this Saturday night and Sunday morning from 930 PM until 400 AM CDT. * Primary threats include... Isolated damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible A tornado or two possible SUMMARY...A line of strong to locally severe thunderstorms will continue to steadily spread east/northeastward through the late evening and overnight hours. Isolated damaging winds should be the primary risk, although a brief line-embedded tornado cannot be ruled out. The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 45 statute miles east and west of a line from 75 miles north northwest of Springfield MO to 25 miles south southeast of Monett MO.
