DISCUSSION AND 48-HOUR OUTLOOK ------------------------------ At 900 PM MDT (0300 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Jova was located near latitude 19.3 North, longitude 109.8 West. Jova is moving toward the west-northwest near 14 mph (22 km/h), and is forecast to turn toward the west by late Saturday. Maximum sustained winds are near 40 mph (65 km/h) with higher gusts. Jova could intensify somewhat on Saturday before a weakening trend begins on Sunday. Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 80 miles (130 km) from the center. The estimated minimum central pressure is 1003 mb (29.62 inches).
