URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED Severe Thunderstorm Watch Number 19 NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK 1235 PM CDT Mon Mar 26 2018 The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a * Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of Southern Oklahoma Texas Big Country * Effective this Monday afternoon and evening from 1235 PM until 900 PM CDT. * Primary threats include... Scattered large hail and isolated very large hail events to 3 inches in diameter likely Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible SUMMARY...Scattered storms will develop along a dryline this afternoon. Large hail will be the primary hazard initially, with a mix of severe wind/hail possible into the evening as storms evolve into east-northeast moving clusters. The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 60 statute miles east and west of a line from 50 miles east northeast of Chickasha OK to 35 miles west southwest of Abilene TX.
