Mar 17, 2018 18:22 - Activity Summary: The eruptions at Kīlauea Volcano’s summit and East Rift Zone continue without significant changes. The surface of the summit lava lake at Halemaʻumaʻu has dropped from the depth of 26m (~85ft) measured yesterday morning, in conjunction with deflationary tilt registering on summit tiltmeters. The upper portion of the Episode 61g lava flow is active, issuing surface flows on the upper portion of the flow field and on Pulama pali. These lava flows pose no threat to nearby communities.
