The Drought May be Ended

By Newsroom America Feeds at 21 May 2017

Dear Eric,

The drought may be ended but our work to conserve California's water continues.

With your help, Sierra Club California can keep building a culture of water conservation and smart water system planning that protects the environment and ensures all Californians have access to safe drinking water (

Sierra Club California is one of the most active voices for better water policy at the State Capitol. This year, for instance, we're helping push through a trio of policy bills by Assemblymember Laura Friedman that will make water conservation a way of life in California, not just a drought reaction.

Please consider making a donation now to help us continue advocating for better water policies so California won't be caught short by the next drought:

Nearly 1.6 million Californians lack access to safe drinking water. And more than 100 wildlife species were put at risk of survival by the state's drought. These are grim statistics.

Now is the time to produce water policies that change that.

Thanks for your support.

Sincerely, Kathryn Phillips Director
