Mar 19, 2017 21:25 - Slightly elevated surface temperatures at the summit of Cleveland volcano were observed in a few satellite images over the past day. Web camera views of the summit have been obscured by clouds. No significant volcanic activity has been detected in seismic or infrasound data. Cleveland volcano is monitored with a limited real-time seismic network, which inhibits AVO's ability to detect precursory unrest that may lead to an explosive eruption.
