(Newsroom America) -- Presumptive GOP nominee Mitt Romney and Republcian groups raised $76.8 million in May, according to his campaign, which was millions more than President Obama and Democrats at about $60 million.
Reuters reported that Romney's campaign and the Republican National Committee now have some $107 million in cash on hand, a figure that has surprised a number political analysts.
In other news, Romney has surprised the Obama campaign in Michigan, narrowly outpolling the president in the heavy blue state 46-45, though that is well within the poll's margin of error.
